Tongariro Holiday Park is nestled right inside a sacred National Park and is just a short drive from Mount Ruapehu. We provide a car ferrying service for walkers/trampers who take on the legendary Tongariro Crossing.

Bring your tent, motorhome or caravan or stay in one of our clean, warm cabins.

We have a great café right on-site, serving hearty breakfasts, good coffee and a yummy selection of lunches and dinners. We have a lovely private spa pool, perfect for soothing muscles after a rewarding day out in nature.

Eivins Ski Hire is also right here at Tongariro Holiday Park, with all the gear you’ll need for a great day on the snow.

It’s not only the mountains here that beckon. Go trout fishing in the abundant Tongariro River, kayak or white-water raft through churning rapids and crystal clear pools, mountain bike some of New Zealand’s best trails and much much more.

A $20 administration & cancellation fee will be deducted from ALL deposits refunded due to cancellations.
Refunds are only guaranteed if the reservation is cancelled with 10 days notice. Cancellation within 10 days will attract a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the deposit paid. Group cancellations may have special conditions.
